Tip: to make the other side the same take the piece you just cut off, turn it over place it down on the other side piece trace around it with a pencil.
In the picture above you can see the pencil marks. using one of the pieces from one that was already done, it was used as a pattern. I took this picture before it was actually cut to the mark. I wanted to show you the before picture to help you get a better visual on how this was done. I did go back with jig saw and cut to the marks.
Side pieces trimmed to size on table saw
2- 1″ X 6″ pieces of scrap wood attached with nail/brad gun to back across all pallet pieces with nail/brad gun
Another Ideas For Pallet Plank boards
Another idea I had in mind is using them to hold a glass of wine and using the tray for cheese, fruit and crackers. Here I am using them on our farmhouse table, set up for breakfast using my favorite white pedestal mugs, Porcelain Oval Au Gratin dishes and my favorite french rooster flatware.
The DIY Cake Stand is filled Almond Biscotti, I love dipping one or two in my favorite morning yogurt. I don’t know about you, but having any meal served on a beautiful table setting makes having a meal more enjoyable. What do you think?
My Favorite Yogurt Cinnamon Honey Breakfast
Plain Yogurt, drizzled with organic honey, sprinkled with cinnamon, topped with low-fat raisins granola, a few chopped cinnamon glazed pecans. Blueberries on the side and a nice steaming hot cup of black coffee!
We have made quite a few things from pallets, but I do have to say I think these farmhouse planks are probably one of my favorites. I can see these being used this summer on the patio table for one of our outdoor Bbq’s with this pallet tray made not to long ago.
