Christmas Home Tours from the Procrastinators
Silver and White Christmas Winter Wonderland
I am very excited to be part of this Home Tour. (I am going to apologize in advance it’s past one in the morning, so if there are any typos, errors forgive me) Oh and it is a bit long, but I do hope you enjoy what I have put together to share with you all.
I have to tell you when I was invited to join this tour, I was excited and ready to tackle my unfinished Christmas decorations… I knew this would be the push I needed to quite procrastinating and get my Christmas decorating done, I do have to say it was quite the challenge, but I did get it done! Today, I will be joining 14 other “Procrastinators” along with a couple of great giveaways from OnLineFabricStore and Farmhouse Decor Shop each are giving away a $50 gift card to their stores.
Welcome to my home… Come on in… I hope you enjoy this tour as much as I did putting it all togther for you.
Here from the front door on the left sits our buffet which is always fun to decorate since it pretty much is the first thing you see and to the left is our living room where we put up our Christmas tree
along with a few vignettes around the room
Faux snowballs a silver snowflake ornament is placed in some faux snow on a silver tray and captured under a glass cake dome.
In the living room the shelves and top are filled with white and silver pieces
Back over to the buffet
I shared how I made my Comfort and Joy bottles in a previous post. The Tree was also found in AZ while I had the pleasure of shopping with Marty from a Stroll Thru Life it lights up and it is just beautiful it sits on a tray and at the base of the tree is ornaments and Christmas florals. To the right is a galvanized bucket filled with some for Christmas pick and decorative Christmas bottles topped off with some small Christmas ornaments
the mirror above is decorated with a corner swag with three handcrafted iciles from Farmhouse decor.
Across the room is our formal dining room
I found all of this china a thrift store over the year… I am in love with the larger plate with the embossed holly, Layering the plates, topping it off with a scalloped ramekin filled with faux snow, a white Christmas sprig and a small disco ball.
Moving on to the kitchen area, but before we go there, on the left is the stair case and hall way
the staricase was decorated all in white with Faux snowballs and the vintage windows in the background were adorned with swags of greenery and faux crystals and lights
on the counter that separates the kitchen from the family room
we found this Racer sled at an antiques shop in Prescott while we were visiting AZ over the Thanksgiving weekend.
We recently added these shelves above the window and they were decorated with my “Cafe Latte sign, some white platers and some mason jars painted white and filled in with some Christmas greens and pinecones.
I found this adorable Farmhouse style kitchen set at a local thrift shop we had the bench, it was painted to match the table. All the seats were recovered in checked material. Using the same material and padding on the bench.
over on the counter in the kitchen a wire basket is filled with some painted white pears in a nest of Christmas glitter greens. White ceramic egg crates filled with ornaments on top of a Sears scale with a whet chicken that actually holds my coffee filters.
a bird house that was painted white with some cypress added to the tops
on another shelf is a orb sprayed with faux snow and two silver birds
This orb is filled with snowflakes
I changed up the hearth that I also shared in another post. Again while visiting AZ, in the same Antique shop this rusted milk crate was found I feel in love with it and my sister in law was so kind to buy it for me. I filled it with some logs add cypress and sprayed it with faux snow and tied it all together with a silver bow and pinecones.
Here in the family room a white faux fur rug was added and a galvanized bucket was filled wth another faux fur throw
and the last thing added to decorating the tree is a handcrafted Tree topper.
Well… wow…am I tiered this was all done in two days and honestly I can’t believe I actually did it. I know this was probably the longest post I have done so far, it’s a good thing I didn’t do the rest of the house. I really think I should have gone with this idea my daughter and boyfriend came up with this for a Christmas tree and decorations. It would have been a lot easier 🙂
As I wrap this up I hope you all get a chance to visit the others…
