Sweater Christmas Trees

Sweater Christmas Trees

Did everyone have a good weekend?   I was very busy this weekend working on some Christmas projects,  I am still kind of shaking my head and trying to convince myself it will be here before we know it.
Where did this year go?

Here is one of  a few projects I worked on.
I had purchased some sweaters a while back from the thrift store on the intentions of making some sweater pillows.  Well that intention changed.  I am a woman  and I do have the right to change my mind right?
So...Christmas Trees it is.
Three of them.

The one to the left is using the mid section of the sweater and added some antique buttons down the front

This one I cut from the sleeve cutting them into a pointed petal shape,  cutting them in three different  sizes small, medium and large.  Starting from the bottom with the large pieces working  my way up, the mid section was done with the medium pieces and then the the top section are the smaller.

The tree to the right was made with the bottom band of the sweater.

I also made some other Christmas items from this sweater, I will share that in my next post.
If you like what you have just seen, you may want to subscribe for some more of these kind of projects.
I would love if you would follow, if you do please leave a comment and I would love to follow you back.
Till next post.
Hugs,
Tammy
