Farmhouse Spring Cotton Boll Wreath
Hi One More Time Friends, Today I thought I would pop in and share a few things I have been up to. I have been so crazy busy. Ever since I moved into my new booth, it has left me little time to share all the things that I have been up to here at One More Time Events. Besides painting furniture pieces for the booth I have been creating pieces like wood signs, marble signs, sign for a wreath with my Cricut Explore Air 2. I purchased this machine a while back, and felt a little intimidated by it, so it sat for a few months. Until I was visiting my family in Cali one of my good friends came over and brought her machine and gave me a quick lesson on how to use it and now, I am completely hooked! My kitchen table hasn’t been the same since. I really need to get my studio done, but that’s another project, hopefully this Spring.
How to Make a Spring Cotton Boll Wreath with Farmhouse Sign
the greenery it was laid out around the grapevine wreath util I found a pattern I liked. Once the greenery was in place, the ends were tucked into the grapevine and hot glued into place. Next I added the cotton bolls and made a large black and white striped bow. Before, I added the bow I made my Farmhouse “Some bunny Loves Me” sign on my Cricut Machine.
Using Cricut Explore Air2 to Make Farmhouse Some Bunny Loves Me Sign
I am not going to go through a full tutorial, on how to use the Cricut machine. Those of you that have one already know the drill. Those of you that don’t have a cricut machine a stencil would also work great for this project.
I did a little shopping for you if you are looking for a “Some bunny loves you stencil” I know this stencil says “Loves you”, but this would be great if you were giving it as a gift.
I am by all mean not a professional, when it comes to using my cricut machine, but I have managed to get the vinyl part down and I can’t wait to learn more.
Once I cut my vinyl, weeded it, added transfer tape. I then applied it to my painted wood piece, I added to the wreath by tucking it in between the grapevines, securing it with some hot glue.
Thank you so much for stopping by One More Time Events and letting me share with you all! Hope you all have a great weekend and your week is even better!
