Farmhouse Dining Room Makeover with Simple Fall Decor
Hi Everyone, Wow it’s getting cold here, when it’s cold outside that’s when you will find me inside. Which could be a good thing since our home is in need of some home decor makeovers. When we first moved in, I decorated with what I could by adding what I could to decorate the walls. Purchased a dining room, refinished it to fill in the dining room area. Originally this area wasn’t intended as a dining room, but one large living room. Wanting a formal dining area we installed dining room lighting to define this area creating what we now call our formal dining area.
I can’t believe we have already been here a year!
We replaced the dining room table with this expandable counter top table with cross back chairs. I love how this table fits perfect in this area closed up or is expanded. I am not a fan of cherry wood, so this dining room set is currently being refinished. I will share that in another post.
Our buffet also received a makeover recently, it use to be grey. To decorate it for fall I kept it simple by adding some cotton boll stems to the white pitcher and filling a galvanized chicken feeder with LED flameless candles, pumpkins and lambs ear greenery
One thing I love most about decorating in a Farmhouse style is mixing and match pieces and still be able to create something beautiful.
This is looking in from the living room. Still much to do, but it is slowly getting there. Lot’s of indoor Winter projects ahead.
Till Next Post…
