Farmhouse Decor Accessories Two Uses
Although it not time to bring out the throw blankets, I have been slowly transitioning our home decor towards Fall by taking some of my summer accessories once displayed on a rustic ladder and re-purposing them on our farmhouse decorated wall as wall art. There is one thing I love most about decorating with accent pieces, being able to get two uses from one decorative piece. It’s almost like having new decor accessories to decorate with. Best part you don’t have to spend a dime!
Recently I shared my rustic ladder with DIY shabby Frames , Fall being just around the corner, I decided to move these accessories over to our farmhouse wall and share how to get two using the same accessories when decorating and or changing up your home decor. Don’t you love when you can get the most of our accent pieces by only changing up a few things? It’s like breathing new life into old pieces making them feel new again!
Home Decor Accessories Re-used on Farmhouse Decorated Wall
- DIY shabby blank Frame
- Farmhouse Blank Frame
- Small Glass bottles
- Small Moss covered grapevine wreath
I will starting from left to right on the farmhouse decorated wall and show you how I got 2 uses from my accessories
The grapevine wreath was placed in the center of the DIY farmhouse divided tray the rose was replaced with a cotton boll, small glass bottles that hung from the rungs of the rustic ladder were placed on the bottom row of the divided tray, roses were replaced with cotton boll stems.
The farmhouse large frame was used to frame in the DIY mason jar pallet sconce .
I dried the Hydrangea and used them to create a cotton boll and hydrangea wreath to frame in the yearling head mount along with a small fall vignette in a rusted pedestal metal basket and small wooden rustic boxes. Do you know what the piece is on the right? It is a vintage toaster! Do you want to know what I use it for? Sure you do, No, not my morning toast lol…
are you ready for this? I use it to hold my iPhone it fits perfect on the brackets where the bread would be placed.
If you would like to make your own pallet Mason Jar Sconce you can see how to do that here
