Egg Succulent Spring Centerpiece
Welcome back to another Dose of DIY where a group of us get together and share some creative and inspiring themed ideas. Today we will be sharing ideas “Decorating with Eggs Real or Faux” Just in time for Spring. With Easter coming yearly this year, I am sure you will find something here to inspire you. Today I will be sharing my Egg Succulent Spring Centerpiece. Be sure to check out at the end of this post for more inspiration on decorating with eggs.
How to Create a Egg Succulent Planter
This arrangement was made with artificial succulents, white plastic eggs. This could be easily done using reals. This is such an easy project and can be made in just minutes with just a few items.

Directions to Create Egg Succulent Planters
Poke hole at the bottom of the egg and poke a hold on the top of the egg the top hole being large enough to add some deer moss and 3 small succulents
Using the larger succulent pull off the top portion of succulents leaving the stem exposed place some deer moss, slip bottom of the egg over the stem. The succulent now becomes the egg cup to hold it in a vertical position.
fill egg up with deer moss. Spray the end of the succulent stems with spray adhesive, arrange in deer moss
Don’t you think these would be really cute used as name place cards? Just add their names to the eggs.
If you want your egg to lay on it’s side to mix up your arrangement up a bit, poke your hole on the side of the egg, fill with deer moss and succulents.

Some of you that follow One More Time Events may have noticed some similarities or items in my Egg Succulent Spring Centerpiece that came from my St. Patricks Day Centerpiece. As most of you I like to save where I can, as well as get the most use of what I already have. Here are the items I reused:
Succulents: I have used these succulents in many arrangements over and over again
Deer Moss: Same as the succulents no matter if I need large amounts or a smaller amount to decorate with it can be used over and over
Galvanized Metal Tray: This galvanized tray has been one of my favorite trays to use on my round Pallet Coffee table along with using it for outdoors serving up some fresh beverages during the summer and a place to set up a portable smore’s bar
Another idea using Galvanized Tray and Cast Iron Pedestal Dish
