DIY Burlap Fall Wall Art Welcome Sign
One of the first things that come to mind when decorating for Fall is burlap. There are so many things that can be done using burlap, whether it be just adding a bow to a project or setting a fall table with burlap runner, burlap adds just the amount of Fall to any setting. The burlap lace trimmed runner, I have for my table is longer than needed, by simply shortening it up and using the leftover pieces, I created a quick and easy Fall burlap welcome sign that to me all of 15 minutes to do.

I actually left the wire showing mainly because it was brown and looked like vines but instead of leaving them straight I curled them. To curl them it’s pretty simple wrap the wire around a wooden skewer and gently pull the skewer out.
How to DIY Burlap Welcome Banner
Cut a Strip of burlap wired ribbon
Cut ends into a “V” shape
Use a White Chalk pen write “Welcome”
Use White chalk pen and go along the edges of the ribbon and mark dash marks to look like stitching
Place in the center of the fall leaf wreath bending it in a couple of places and hot glue into place.
One thing I do love about this burlap sign is, leaves don’t just have to be used for Fall …in my book they can be used year around. What do you think? Should burlap leaves be only used for Fall or do you think they can be used all year around?
