Welcome Home Christmas Tour
Every year I try to change things up in my Christmas decor as far as colors and themes, this year I chose to go with black, white and red. I have to tell you, I am having a lot of fun using these colors in a vintage farmhouse style. Today I am participating in a Welcome Home Christmas Tour with several other bloggers hosted by Robin from All Things Heart and Home.
Welcome to My Kitchen
Come on into our kitchen breakfast area and have a seat and I’ll fix you a nice cup of hot chocolate and show you around a bit. This year I decided to set up a Hot Chocolate bar on my coffee station that is made from an old chest of drawers and a vintage screen door.

The hot chocolate bar signage is a pre-made chalkboard that was stenciled using a chalk pen, both shelves are decorated with vintage tins with Chalkboard Labels with Liquid Chalk Marker , white pedestal coffee mugs each decorated with a wooden ice cream spoon that was painted black and chalked and labeled “Cup of Cheer” and attached with some red and white bakers twine.
Down on the actual station you can see we take our coffee and hot chocolate drinks pretty serious… yes we have two different kinds of brewers The Keurig Rivo Cappuccino and Latte System and Keurig K350 2.0 Brewing System . A white tray lined with houndstooth ribbon, white pedestal dish with delicious snowballs.
A few of our favorite Torani Syrup Variety Pack are added. These syrup bottles were wrapped with black and white striped gift wrap and chalkboard labels . Do you or have you ever added favored syrups to your hot chocolate? If not you may want to give it a try it’s pretty yummy!
Over at our Farmhouse table a black and white buffalo checked tablecloth is added. The chairs are covered with a white seersucker bedspread I cut and fitted to the seats of the chairs, the rest of it was used as a window covering.
A colander centerpiece was made for the center of the table if you would like to see how this was put together you can see that here
Silverware was wrapped with some faux white berry pieces and faux cypress
Above the table a hanging ornament swag hangs from our farmhouse style ceiling fan. To create one of your own ornament swags you can see that here.
