Christmas Decorating-Finally Done
Whew… I am finally done with my Christmas decorating and ready to share with you all. I can’t believe it took me so long to finish my Christmas Decor, but it’s as done, I finally had to say enough is enough and put away what I had left over, if I didn’t I would be still decorating into the new year. If you are still looking for some Christmas inspiration or perhaps maybe some ideas for next year you can find it here in our “better late than never” our dining and living room.
Down below on the dining room table a garland was made up with white Christmas pics, grey poinsettia and white snowballs. On the corner 3 galvanized buckets turned upside down with glass domes are filled with snowballs and a candle
On the shelf behind the table a small vignette was created on the shelf
Over the fireplace the shutters wall decor with lanterns were filled with snowballs, inside a magnolia square wreath and adorned with ribbons
Down below a Joy to the World vignette was created on the Fireplace mantel
This year we decided to get a real tree, mainly because our artificial tree is stored in the way back in one of the out buildings and we didn’t want to dig it out. I normally have my tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving. When do you put up your Christmas Tree?
We haven’t had a real Christmas tree in years and I had forgotten how different it is to decorate, filling in gaps, while the branches are not as sturdy as an artificial branch and finding a branch strong enough to hold the ornaments.
Because my Grandson is really into Mickey this year I created what looks to be like Mickey ornaments using one large white ball ornament and 2 small red ornaments…he loves them!
I had plans on sharing how I made some of my Christmas decor, but that kind of went by the way side when we decided to close up our store and rent a booth along with re-opening up our online store, while we look for a better location. A lot of the handcrafted decor is pretty simple and you can probably figure it out by just looking at these pictures, if not just leave me a comment and I would be happy to explain it to you.
Till Next Post…
