Share It One More Time Party and Features
Welcome Back Share it One More Time Friends, I hope you all had a great week and your weekend is even better. My week pretty much consisted of doctor, dentist and a biopsy, that I will NEVER EVER have done again, just hoping Tuesday will bring good news! I did manage to change a few things up in the family room and have moved on to the kitchen which I will share soon.
Before I go I would like to remind you about a group I belong to called a Dose of DIY that shares a theme each month. Last month we shared our Summer front porches doors and coming this Monday we will be sharing pillow ideas. I know I was impressed with all the front door and porches that was shared and I can’t wait to see all the pillow ideas…One can never have too many pillows right?
Now lets see what your host Cathy has to say and take a look at all the great features she picked this week…shall we?
I can’t believe how fast this past week has gone by. We were talking to neighbors last evening and he (being a teacher) starts to school in four weeks! Can you believe it – and our community pool hasn’t opened as it is still under construction. Miss A is hoping it opens by next week – fingers crossed.
As always you all outdid yourselves this week. It took me forever to decide on the features – there were just so many great projects linked up. Since we are in the midst of those hot July days I decided to feature a few of the easy summer living posts that were shared. There were so many great ideas and these are just a few great ones I thought you all might enjoy yourselves. So let’s get on with this weeks features.
Marty of Marty’s Musings has put together the most wonderful deck with thrift finds and re purposed pieces. What a beautiful area to spend a warm July afternoon.
Ella Inspires shared her beautiful summer decor in her Summer Home Tour. I love her style and so perfect for easy summer living.
The Scrap Shope Blog gives a wonderful tutorial to build a small brick patio. One of these would be wonderful for all those warm summer afternoons to just sit and enjoy a glass of iced tea.
LuAnn of Lovely Livings shared her front porch where she wiles away these summer afternoons with a glass of ice tea and conversation. I love the pops of pink she used.
And to enjoy those afternoons on the porch This Cookin’ Dad shared his awesome recipe for some perfect southern iced tea.
Then you can end the day with a wonderful fun and tasty ice cream party that Clean and Scentsible gives step by step instructions to put together.
I think we covered all the important things about easy summer living – decks, patios, porches, iced tea and ice cream. Yes, those are on the top of my list for how to enjoy a lazy summer day – how bout you?
Our party starts at 9:00 AM every Saturday morning and runs until Friday 5:00 PM. During the week other bloggers will link up their favorite crafts, DIY projects, recipes and more – where you will get to see tons of inspiration! Be sure to check back during the week… I am sure you will find even more to inspire you! Thank you for stopping by… Where Everyday is an Event.
