Wall Art Blog Hop
Rusted Wall Art
Those of you that are new here to One More Time will see that we enjoy decorating our home with vintage finds along with a touch of elegance in a farmhouse style.
Today I will be sharing a piece of wall art that was found at a thrift store. I actually did this piece a while ago, but never got around to sharing it and when a group I recently joined announced the theme to be Wall Art, I thought it would be a perfect time to share it.
This piece of wall art was found at a thrift store and even though this was really not our style or color, I knew with a little paint and some faux rust it would be a perfect addition to your family room.
Once the the paint was dried, Mod Podge was applied by sprinkling randomly with nutmeg spice to give it a rusted look. One more application of Mod Podge was applied to the entire piece to seal it.
