Last year we re-purposed a chest of drawers into a coffee station. You can see it here Chest of Drawers turned Coffee Station
As we all know one thing leads into another and that is exactly what happened here. A while back my mom purchased this shelf from a local thrift store and decided she didn’t want it and offered it to me, well yes… I want it, not sure what I would use it for. It sat in the garage for a while and then it “hit” me.
I can turn it upside down and add it to the coffee station, since the drawer could be turned upside down as well it worked out perfectly.
With a little homemade chalk paint, glaze and wax I tried to match the exsisting coffee station.
Now to organized the coffee station…
I found these wine tags at Target and with the labels from the pods, I created some tags for the drawers
My mom gave me some chalk board labels, purchased from World Market.
I labeled my canisters (found at local thrift shop) and bottles (found at TJ Maxx)
Wire and knobs were added to the drawers. The drawers were filled with pods, tea bags and sugar.
Bottles of syrups now line the top shelf and coffee cups on the bottom.
This is what the Coffee Station originally started out as.
Syrups where purchased from Marshall’s and World Market. I love these pumps they were purchased at World Market.
I made this coffee filter wreath for Christmas, I decided to leave it up since it kind of fits the area. For tutorial you can go to Coffee Filter Wreath tutorial
We still have some other plans for this, but will have to share that later when we get it done.
I have been enjoying my coffee station everyday and love how everything is so organized and right at my finger tips. No more searching and digging into the cabinets. It’s amazing what a little organization does.
Till Next Post….xo
