Carpenters Tool Box Fall Arrangement
Old Carpenters Tool Box Fall Arrangement
This old carpenters tool was given to me a while back and I had many plans for it, but just never got around to doing anything with it. The bottom was in pretty bad shape, so I ended up just taking the bottom completely out and planned on putting a new bottom in, well that didn’t happen either. So I decided to bring it in and make a fall arrangement in it. I placed some Styrofoam in the bottom and started out with some wicker pumpkins, adding corn husk and corn from what was left of our corn plants that started out doing really well and ended up dying. I finished it off with some feathers and some floral flowers I found at a local thrift shop.
I think this box is going to stay inside permanently and I will change it out with the seasons.
This arrangement took the place of the wire basket pumpkin orb I made you can see it Here. Even though I have been busy decorating inside for fall , I have been holding off doing the outside. When I do finally get to the outside I plan on putting the pumpkin orb on the front porch.
Will see, but I think I really do like how this old carpenters fall arrangement looks on the hearth.
Now my old carpenters tool box has a purpose and our corn didn’t go to a total waste.
