Refinished Side Table and New Chairs
Things are starting to lighten up! If you have been following you know I have been hard at work changing the colors in our home. If you don't follow and you like what you see, I would love it if you did follow.

Here is another project that has been refinished to help make that change.
I shared how I refinished our sofa table, you can see it here Sofa Table Refinished. Because I am so anal about making things matching, I couldn't help myself, but to refinish this side table that sits between the two chairs. So out came the chalk paint and the dark wax.
I did it in the same color as the sofa table, but on this one I did the whole piece. The only thing I did different was add a darker color to the top rim under the top.

Here are our new chairs....Aren't they beautiful? I love them!
Here is our other Beta, Nimo in his designer home. If you don't know about Beta's, they are very easy to care for, very interactive and fun!
Because the new chairs are so light in color, which means they will show dirt more, I made some arm chair and back covers. Guess what I made them out of?
Remember the faux roman shades and valance I made from a table cloth?
I had some of the table cloth left over so I used it...Nothing goes to waste!
This is not really the look I want, but better than having to worry about getting them dirty. Now all I have to do is take the covers off and throw them in the washer.
I have so much more to share. Hope you aren't getting bored with this makeover series. See the picture above this one, the sewing machine and the coffee table well they got a make over too.
Can't wait to show you!
