More Changes using Chalk Paint
How to change the Colors on Decorative Plates
Hello all, In my last post I shared how I painted glass vases to look like finished ceramic you can see it Here.
As I promised I will be sharing quite a few projects I have been doing as I am changing the colors in family room and kitchen I had these plates hanging in the kitchen and since I wanted to still use them, I again made some homemade chalk paint to match the new colors. I first applied the chalk paint.

Then added some Martha Stewart glaze and lightly rubbed off some of the two applications to expose lettering and some other areas

Then sprayed with a clear finish Gloss Clear it is made by Rust-o-leum Painters Touch Ultra Cover 2X coverage...hope ths helps...
I love using chalk paint, it covers just about everything and anything. There is no sence in tossing out the old when you can just paint it to match your new colors and the cost is the best part!
With a bottle of paint and some Plaster of Paris I can afford to change my colors, which seems to be quite often. I am loving my new colors so maybe it will stay this way for a while. I did say maybe...right?
Till next Post Xo
