Family Room Vignettes

Family Room Vignettes

Last post, I shared how I covered the galvanized buckets 3 ideas using table cloths and today I am going to show you a little more of what I have been up to.  So here is where the covered galvanized buckets made their home, below the new wall clock and in front of the new drapes made from....Yep,  you guessed it, made from a table cloth this is what was there before

Curtains Before

Any who... Here is one vignette, the lamp I picked up at a local thrift store, it was in perfect shape, actually it appeared to be brand new.

Curtains After

I just noticed that Mr. OMT's golf ball is in the picture...LOL,  I guess it's a guy thing,  his way of decorating and making his mark, too funny! OK back to the post.  I needed that laugh!

Her is another Vignette which sit on a re purposed piece Mr. OMT did you can see that here re-purposed antique singer sewing machine.  This vignette has already been changed, but wanted to share this lamp I picked up for $4.00 at a garage sale.  I was in an antique store and saw this same kind of lamp with a price tag of $80.00 either they are over priced or I got a great deal.

Wine cork center piece, I had this in the living room and decided to bring it in the family room.

This wine cork centerpiece now sits on the coffee table with the coffee table being so dark and to bring in the new colors  it helps to lighten up the darkness of the table.

Well that is all for now, but I will have some more re-do's, more chalk painted projects, a valance to share Oh and one other thing that I will be working on this weekend...not sure if it's going to work out, but I am going to try my best to make it work.

Til Next Post...Xo
