3 Ideas using Linen Table Cloth
Hi Everyone, OK... Today I am going to move on with the color redo and share some other changes made to get the look I am going for...What is the look I am going for? Well I really don't know, but I do know I wanted to brighten up the rooms a bit and get away from the dark colors. Now that I am writing this post I see I have two loves, chalk paint and using linen table cloths for drapes/curtains. I shared my dining room curtains here using tablecloths. Here I am still using tablecloths found at Home Goods. I wanted a burlap look and neutral color to make these faux roman shades
and then added a valance with the same material
OK I do have to mention that word "chalk paint" one more time. See the Mirrors behind the love seat? Those were done with "chalk paint" you can see how that was done Here. Oh and the pillow on the Love seat was done with cloth napkins.
With the price per yard for fabric, I found it less expensive by using fabric tablecloths and napkins...not only is there some great patterns, but most of the time you can find that the napkins coordinate with the tablecloths. Now how fun is that....and everything matches!
With the leftover tablecloth, I covered these galvanized pots

I cut 4 pieces for each side
