Have you ever found something and knew it wasn’t the right colors, but there was something about it that you really liked, so you bought it anyway? Well that is exactly what I did I spotted this lamp at a garage sale for $3.50. I noticed it right away, but the colors were all wrong, but I bought it anyway. After I got it home and tried it out in a few places it just wasn’t fitting in anywhere. So, I decided I would make it fit in by painting the black part with some latex paint I had.
I placed the new re-done table lamp on this re-done smokers stand you can see it Here, This sits in the entry now she fits right in with the new colors of the dining room/ living room.
I got this idea for this sweater pumpkin from Alderberry Hill when she linked up to Share it One More Time Here . I used one of my dollar store pumpkins and did it up a little different by adding jute. If you want to see how Alderberry Hill does it you can go to Alderberry Hill blog. She has a complete tutorial and some really cute variations.
Well now my table lamp fits right in and I happy how it turned out.
Hope you all are having a great week.
