5 Centerpieces and Arrangments
Five Centerpieces and Arrangements
With all the painting and the changes being made to bringing in a new color, I felt some  new arrangements were in order.   By using and gathering other items from the house and a trip to Michale’s I was able to make a few new ones for the new look.

Hurricane Globe Candle Centerpiece filled with Wine Corks
I had this glass bowl and the hurricane globe was purchased a while back from a local thrift store for a dollar, the candle I had and the wine corks are compliments from my MIL.
I just centered the hurricane globe inside the bowl,  filled the hurricane globe with wine corks as well as the bowl, placed the candle in the center and there you have it! The cost of this new centerpiece…$0 :)

This past weekend I picked up this glass bowl at the thrift shop for $5.00 I loved the color and the style.

I filled it with these painted Orbs, wicker balls and some pieces I got in a bag of potpourri.  The Orbs   were a red, green, and a mustard color with gold trim.

I Painted them with homemade mushroom bisque chalk paint and applied dark minwax   They almost look like wood Orbs

The finials I purchased at the thrift store a while back as well as the books, this arrangement cost me $5.00.
This arrangement was made with some antique sewing machine drawers, again painted with chalk paint, waxed and distressed and filled with some  decorative balls I purchased at Target half price  and some wicker branches I had on hand.
So to make this it cost me around $5.00.

This arrangement I had made awhile back but the flowers were a different color I just used some homemade chalk paint to change the color to match the rest of the projects I did.
You can see it and how to here

And now what started all of this transformation…this table cloth.  I made this dining room centerpiece with other items from around the house  (all thrift store finds) hurricane globes, candle stick holders and decorative bowl.  The only thing purchased was the floral at 80% off at Michal’s and the tablecloth $14.99 a Marshal’s.

I placed a hurricane globe in the arrangement and added a candle and arranged the florals around it.

Well there you have it for hardly nothing I was able to make all of these, from just a few purchases and a lot of  things I already had.
