Spring’tacular Party Parade Tablescape/Recipe

Spring'tacular Party Parade Tablescape/Recipe

Today is the last day of the Spring'tacular party parade over at Refresh restyle and although, I kind of sprung ahead a  little too early on one of the steps in the parade (so…I kind of don't march to the same beat of the drummer) …meaning I shared this tablescape a little to soon.  Ok…can you tell I am ready for spring?  So….I thought I would take the time today to explain how this tablescape was put together with all Dollar store and Big Lots finds…
starting with the bottom plate up
Clear green plastic scalloped plate (Big Lots)
next a square floral paper plate  (Dollar Store)
next large Dollies (Dollar Store)
last scalloped spring floral paper plate (Dollar Store)
on top of the plate is a Striped paper napkin holding utensils tied up with a silk flower

In the corner of every plate setting is a silk butterfly to match the centerpiece

Center piece was made using a glass apple basket, birch tree branch, butterfly nets, silk butterflies, faux crystals, ribbon and silk flowers
each place setting was set with a painted terracotta pot
plant stake for name tag, silk butterfly and silk flower
to also compliment the centerpiece
Each chair was decorated with netting, ribbon and silk flowers
every other chair had a silk butterfly
This event was done for a Red Hat Tea and Tablescape contest..  ok..a little tootin'  my own little horn here…I won 1st place
and just think it was done with mostly Dollar Store finds.
Strawberry Lemonade
Here is what I used to make Strawberry Lemonade
4 Lemons freshly squeezed
1 can frozen Strawberry daiquiri mix
4 cans of water using empty daiquiri container
1 cup of sugar
Pour over ice and serve
I would like to thank  Debbie at Debbiedoo's , Shannon at Fox Hallow Cottage (thank you for the suggestions and comment), Gina Random Thoughts (thank you for the very nice comment) and  Debbie at refresh restyle  Thank you all for hosting a Spectacular Spring'tacular party parade…Not only was it fun doing it, it was also nice meeting some really nice bloggers out there marching along this parade!
